Antique Candle Co Trip
I’ve mentioned Antique Candle Co before because I’ve had the privilege of being an ambassador of theirs for over a year now. But recently I had the biggest honor of being asked to come and check out one of my ALL time favorite small shops in person!
First of all, the studio itself was so cool and smelled incredible! It was awesome seeing how the day to day operations work behind the scenes AND I got to pour my very own candles! I’m definitely no professional but it was so fun! Some of my favorites are Sweet Lemon, Georgia Peach, and Clean Cotton!
Supporting small shops is so important and near and dear to my heart! I knew this candle company started with a dream and $200 in a garage. But meeting the actual people who show up everyday to make that dream a successful reality really hit home for me. I spent the day with them here at there place of work and then we all had dinner afterwards. And I kept thinking how happy and genuinely passionate each person was about their job. It was such a testament to the heart of a small business and it’s amazing founder Brittany! Love you Brittany!
An Extended Community
Another amazing part of the trip was that I got to spend the day there among fellow bloggers! Such a big piece of my heart belongs to blogging and I can’t tell you how empowering it is to spend the day with like minded and passioned women! It was such a joy to meet some of them for the first time and catch up with others! It’s also amazing how this company has creating it’s own community of supporters!
Above is a picture of Brittany, Antique Candle Co.’s founder and CEO, and I. And I want to give her a huge shoutout for being an incredible girl boss and the biggest inspiration! I also want to tell her and the entire Antique Candle Co team THANK YOU for hosting us and for the opportunity to work with such an amazing company! The entire experience was amazing and a memory I’ll cherish forever!
If your’e in the market for the BEST candles EVER I couldn’t recommend them more!
