Breakfast Nook Chairs

Hello there!

I wanted to hop on real quick today to share the “new” chairs I found for the breakfast nook in our sunroom. After finding and painting the $10 Craigslist table I knew I wanted to add a bit of warmth to the space when I added chairs. Along with being the right wood tone I also needed them to be smaller for the scale of the space – oh and I wanted them to be vintage. So yeah, that’s quite a specific type of chair I was looking for! Lol! But hunting for specific pieces is definitely a hobby of mine these days πŸ™‚

And it did take me awhile to find them but I diiid! If you follow me on Instagram then you already know my excitement when I found them! But here they are!

More Details

I ended up finding them at a vintage festival for $15 each! The vendor was selling them with a small table but she let me separate them and just take the chairs πŸ™‚ After years of shopping (and a couple selling) at vintage type festivals I’ve learned that it never hurts to ask or play let’s make a deal! The worst they can say is no, right? And feeling like you got a deal is such a bonus to a good find! Haha!

Coffee Spot

Vintage items always lend such a authentic quality and these chairs feel like they were meant for the space, don’t you think? I’m feeling good about how this space is coming together πŸ™‚ It’s rich with texture which makes it cozy but it’s also bright and cheerful. It’s certainly become one of the most used rooms in our home and you can count on me sipping my coffee in this spot every morning.

Also speaking of awesome vintage finds, I went to a junk fest last weekend and found some pretty special things I’m excited to share with ya soon!Β To always get a sneak peek of what we’re up to follow along with me on Instagram @midcounty_journalΒ

I’m so thankful to get to share our home with you and truly appreciate you stopping by the blog today!
