Farm Babe Feature: Finn
I hope you’re having a great week! To send a little sunshine your way I’ve decided to share one of our furry family members each week!
Last week I share our first babe Maverick and you can read about him HERE if you missed it!
But this week’s farm babe feature is Finn!
He goes my many names: Finnegan, Finn, Finny Finn, and lovingly Toots haha! This feisty boy is a gem! We adopted Finn when he was right at a year old! I saw his foxy looking little self and fell in love! He fit right in to our little family and he and Mav were fast friends. Finn is a mixed breed the vet can only guess is a Pomeranian, Yorkie, possibly other wired hair terrier of some kind. Not sure but we love his unique little self and the fact that he looks like a fox!
Small But Mighty Finn
Finn is a character! He is a fierce little protector (yep little dog syndrome lol) and never leaves my side! In fact he’s sitting right beside me as I write this 🙂 Like a little goat or scavenger he’ll eat anything! Seriously food is his favorite! And he may be small but he keeps up with, and many times leads, the big dogs!
Momma Finn the Farm Babe
Finn is 7 years old now and it’s been fun to watch him find his place here on the farm. We refer to him as momma Finn because he’s literally like a little mother hen. He checks on the kittens, makes sure the big dogs don’t play too rough and generally keeps everyone in line 😉 But last week he realized there are some things that are just too big to try and protect us from when he got up close and personal with a tractor lol!
I can’t wait to see his reaction to the new farm babies when they get here! We love our little foxy guy Finn!
Finn does look like a FOX!!! How fun! He’s really cute! I grew up on a farm in Oregon, and how I miss country life so I’m enjoying following your blog.
Hi there Toni! I’m so glad you’re enjoying everything! We’re grateful to have you along for the ride! Finn is a ham! Haha! It’s been a busy couple weeks here at the farm and I can’t wait to share everything with ya here! Take care!
What a cutie he is!
Thanks! He’s ornery too!
He’s so stinkin’ cute!
Thanks!! And just as ornery! 😉
