Farm Babe Feature: Kitties
Hi friend!
I hope you’re doing well! This week’s farm babe feature is the kitties! When we moved to the farmhouse it was in such a state of neglect we knew pests could/would be an issue. So on my birthday (October 1st) we decided to foster to adopt 4 kittens from our local animal shelter.

They were between 4-5 weeks old, which is why we had to technically foster them first. We adopted 2 female black kittens Luna and Raven from one litter. And 2 orange male kittens Liam and Archie from another. Sadly Liam did not make it. The animal shelter thinks it is because they were taken from their mother too soon. But thank goodness his brother Archie survived.
Sweet Kitties
The kittens have thrived here at the farm. Like the rest of the farm babes they’re welcome inside whenever they choose. Archie comes in for a nap almost daily. He is the most affectionate cat I’ve ever been around. Raven just wants a lap to sit on and she’s a happy girl. And Luna is very independent, which lead her to get stuck up in a tree on several occasions! Lol! Don’t worry we rescued her!

Okay so the kittens are obviously more than just pest control haha! But they are very good at their job too! We had them spayed and neutered so we won’t be having anymore kittens here unless we adopt more 😉 But I wanted to add that now while we’re all at home more would be a perfect opportunity to foster or adopt if you have the heart for it!
And you can expect our newest farm babies to be here on the blog this weekend!!
Have a great one and stay safe!
