Farmhouse Living Room Rugs

Hi friend!

I know we’ve been talking a lot about the animals and gardening all all the farm Spring things, but I’m ready to get back to working on the house. I’ve focused the better part of 3 years renovating this place and I’m about halfway done. Whoo hoo! Lol! Now I want to start spending more time adding those decor touches that really make it feel like home 🙂 After a few months of enjoying the reclaimed wood flooring we worked so hard on I’m on the hunt for farmhouse living room rugs!

Farmhouse Rugs

All the rugs I’m sharing today are from Rugs USA. I like that they have a “see it in your room” tool, which is what I used for all the images below. This way you can get a good idea how the rug will look before purchasing. They also have a great selection of styles for both indoor and outdoor, AND washable rugs!

Most of the rugs I’m sharing also come in round, oval, and runner options. Plus they all come in a variety of sizes too. So there’s a good style and fit no matter your room or space!

Below are some of my favs. Each rug photo is linked and I also linked each one below their pics too. I’d love to know which one you like best!

Beige Garnished Medallion Rug

This rug would be an easy choice for me. It’s neutral, which I love, and I really like that it has a floral design. I’m always looking for ways to bring in nature inspired pieces. I think it would add a lot of interest to the room!

Charcoal Iris Medallion Rug

This rug stopped me in my tracks! I love the contrast and the design. Plus it’s an outdoor rug! I’ve used outdoor rugs inside before and am a fan. They’re usually easy to spot clean or you can pressure wash the whole thing lol! Don’t sleep on outdoor rug options! I’ll definitely be keeping this rug in mind 😉

Light Gray Cataleya Rug

This rug has a softer more muted tone and pattern that I think is just beautiful! I also like the fringed edges. I think it looks lovely against our warm floors and would bring some tone balance to the room.

Natural Sycamore Striped Jute Rug

I love jute rugs and I love stripes! Stripes are a classic farmhouse pattern as you’ll find lots of straight lines throughout our homes architecture. However, I do have quite a few stripes on textiles in this room already if you note the chair upholstery and pillows 😉 But I wouldn’t be surprised to see this rug pop up elsewhere in our home!

Beige Meena Fading Garden Washable

It’s in the name! Garden vibes! I love this pattern and that it’s distressed too. And the best part? It’s WASHABLE! This one is a high contender for me!

Beige Mara Medallion Washable Rug

Another washable option! I’m straying a bit away from my neutral palette 😉 I love the colors in this rug though! I think it would pull red tones from our chimney and tie in perfectly!

Natural Meadow Striped Jute

Okay this is my favorite striped option for this room! I also think it would look awesome under a bed! Even though I said I already have a lot of stripes in I might be willing to switch up some things up to get away with this rug in here! It’s beautiful! Again, if it doesn’t end up in here you can bet it’ll show up in another room!

Beige Amalea Medallion Rug

Another washable option! Yay! This rug is SO pretty! I love that it’s light and bright, but does have a bit of a contrasting pattern too. This one is high on my favorites list! I think it would be lovely in our living room!

Natural Louie Diamond Checkerboard Jute Rug

Not gonna lie I’ve been eyeing this rug for years and it’s my top pick at the moment 🙂 I mean I literally painted our kitchen floors this harlequin pattern because I love it so much! It’s one that’s been around for a very long time so it fits well with our home. I’m always trying to create a balance between old and new or a new take on old design, and this nails it. I also love a good jute rug 🙂

I’m also not opposed to in in the charcoal option OR the larger diamond pattern Trellis rug below! These rugs also come in a few other colors so be sure to check them out!

Rugs are such a fun element in a room! They add interest and coziness, and they anchor all the furniture in the room. Plus they’re just nice under foot, amiright? 😉 I’d love to hear which one of these is your favorite! I’m definitely having a hard time choosing! But I’ll be sure to share what I decide when I unroll it in our living room!
