Holiday Tour 2017: Living Room Part 2
Hi sweet friend!
Welcome to Part 2 of the Holiday Living Room Tour! We’ll pick up right where we left off so if you missed Part 1 be sure to check it out HERE 🙂
‘Tis the Season for Being Cozy
I always want our home to be comfy & cozy. For me in the winter that means lots of blankets to snuggle up with 🙂 This vintage laundry hamper is the perfect for storing all this extra blankets & pillows ya might need.
The Tree
While I added lots of flocked greenery & a couple bigger flocks trees (we’ll get to those in another article) I kept our living rooms just your basic tree, but of course I added lots of white 😉 The tree is a 7′ penciled tree from Big Lots & all of its ornaments are from Hobby Lobby (last year) including the star.
Decorating around the TV
Our TV isn’t my favorite thing to decorate around but that’s real life haha! I do however love our antique dresser TV stand. Anyway I had this idea to put a little Christmas village & some greenery in front of it this year. So I searched high & low for one that was the scale I wanted & I ended up finding these charming little houses at a Dollar General store! & I think they’re just a perfect addition to the space. I added a white table runner on top just for some more contrast to the dresser & again the flocked garland behind them is from Walmart. I shared it along with some of my other favorite greenery HERE.
These handmade stockings were an amazing find from The Vintage Bucket. I looked everywhere for long neutral farmhouse stockings last year but never found any I loved, so I was over the moon when I came across these this year! They have the absolute sweetest handmade & vintage online shop not to mention great customer service & fast shipping 🙂 I highly recommend checking them out!
The Living Room
That concludes the Living Room portion of this Holiday Tour 🙂 I hope you enjoyed it! Our living room is a very lived in & loved part of our home. It’s a space I like to be cozy, comfy, bright, & light. I hope yours is everything you want it to be this holiday season 🙂
I’ll leave ya with a little sneak peek of our dinning/kitchen that’s next on the Tour 😉
Thanks so much for stopping by! & happy holidays!
XOXO,
