Painting the Chicken Coop

Hey y’all!

This past weekend was another HOT one here in good ol southern IL! But I took lots of breaks, drank lots of water, and got the chicken coop painted!!! Paint always makes arguably the biggest impact and painting the chicken coop was no exception!

Chicken Coop Paint

And below is a little “in he middle of painting” pic!  Isn’t that amazing! I painted the coop using our paint sprayer and it took me about 3 hours start to finish and I used almost all of a 5 gallon bucket of paint.

I choose BEHR white exterior barn and fence paint, which you can find HERE!

And I LOVE how it came out!

The coop looks so nice and fresh and bright now! It will take me a bit to get used to seeing it everytime I go outside I’m shocked! The coop was originally painted white and I’m glad that it’s back to it’s roots and also will be better preserved now!

If you missed it you can see what it looked like when we started the reno HERE!

It makes me so happy and proud that this dilapidated 99 year old chicken coop is being given new life! Paint is magic y’all! And I’ve already done a few more things that have it looking even better! I’ll be sharing them with ya very soon! Eeek! Have a great week!

And thanks so much for stopping by the blog today!!
