Milk Painting a Dresser
Hey there buddy!
As you can guess this post is about how I decided to paint a dresser with milk paint. Not just any old dresser but the dresser we use in our living room as a TV stand. It’s a gorgeous antique that originally belonged to Ed’s grandma. I’ve been thinking about painting this dresser for SOOO long and I’m so glad I finally did because I LOVE how it turned out and can’t wait for you to see it in vlog number 2!
Materials used for this project:
- Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint in Farmhouse White
- Miss Mustard Seed’s finishing wax in Clear
- New Renaissance Paint Brush (my personal fav)
I use a brush similar to these one to apply wax, I believe I got mine at Lowe’s
Before and After
Let’s take a look at that before and after one more time shall we?
Milk paint has definitely become my all time favorite paint to use. The results you get aren’t always predictable but if you’re hoping to create a chippy look I haven’t found another paint that does it quite as well as Miss Mustard Seeds 🙂 If you have any questions about the milk painting process I’d love to answer them! I really hope you enjoyed the second blog! I had so much fun documenting this little project! Take care!
